I like the ocean and just about everything in it. Seals are great (there's a running joke that I'm a selkie-- or a mermaid). I also enjoy playing guitar and have a healthy appetite for D&D and LotR; there's a good measure of fantasy geekiness in me.

This is me and my husband Kenny! We live in Texas during the summers while we finish college, and we spend our summers here in Hawaii! This is how we typically spend our days...surfing and laughing in the water. We have a dog named Bernard who is also a water dog and would be out in the water surfing with us every day if he could! We love being outside and we love to travel.

Marrying Brandon was one of the best days of my life! Not only is he one of the smartest people I know (he just graduated from Law School), he's also one of the most fun to be around and talented men I've ever met (he sings and plays guitar in an 80's hair band, need I say more?) He also rides a motorcycle, surfs and welds furniture.
I'm a librarian-in-training (almost done with my Master's program in Library Science) and mom to our four-legged daughter Lucy:-) We all live in a little house by the beach.

We live in O-H-I-O, but we were married on the beach in the Outer Banks of NC this summer. We brought along our dogs for the wedding/honeymoon at our destination. Though they are spoiled rotten and we wouldn't have left them behind, they weren't in the wedding. I think they're still mad about that :) I teach third grade and feel like it's the perfect job for me. Being a teacher is a big part of who I am and not just what I do. Ryan is in med school and looking forward to being a doctor soon. He is equally passionate about it. We love the ocean, reading together in the hammock, road trips, and funky art/photography galleries that we find anywhere along the way. Our favorite colors are purple and green. We're already counting down the days 'til summer.

This is my family…my husband Tim, son Jake, daughter Emma and me. We love the beach and try to go each year. Tim’s passion is hunting and fishing. Jill loves to scrapbook, crochet, and anything crafty. Emma is a freshman in high school and is in the marching band playing the flute. Their colors are black and gold. Jake is at the middle school in beginner band and plays the saxophone. He also loves creating stuff with legos. We all love the outdoors and go camping several times each year.

This is me and our adorable Labrador Monty in one of our favourite photos. We travelled around Australia in 2009 and he took out the honour of catching the biggest fish of the trip. It was like a John West ad, he literally dived into the surf and came up with a big salmon! Monty also eats, drinks and snores really loudly. He weighs more than me. If I didn't find them so scary, I'd say he's a total clown. I don't think I'm a scaredy cat but I also hate balloons. I love making perfectly neat sandwiches and I like walking quickly, so can't stand people walking slowly, clogging up the sidewalk.
