I would be absolutely delighted if you could wangle a crappy portrait to commemorate the anniversary of my boyfriend Kev and I. The picture was taken after a weird pagan ceremony (think like Wicker Man but with more lacy gloves) in my home town of Helston, Cornwall, UK - everyone dances around waving bracken, playing trombones, slaying papermache dragons etc. Ostensibly it's a ceremony to welcome in the summer, but really it's a chance for everyone to come home, drink ale and wave sticks about without their mum shouting 'you'll have someone's eye out with that!'. It rained, and that's why we're super-damp in this picture.
What we like to do when we're not damp and tiddly pagans: Kev is a back-slapping team player, enjoying rugby, cricket, football, '90s bands and musicals - basically, anything which involves getting into a crowd and shouting, he is there. I like to read books, watch films, and read the spoilers to films. I like flowers, in all guises - indiscriminately, a bit like a bee.
