Attached are pictures of me and my dog, my one true love. I enjoy drinking, loud music, tattoos, drinking, taking funny pictures, my family, and drinking. As a recently single girl, I'm looking to enjoy these things a lot more in the near future. Especially drinking.

I'm a very soon to be (gasp) 40 year old (double gasp) single girl. The whole single thing isn't new nor is turning 40…so I'm not sure why my family is acting as if this will be the year of the great demise of all my hopes and dreams, but alas, I apparently will have officially achieved (like I did it on purpose) spinsterhood. This is compounded by the fact that I'm the middle of 5 children and all the others have married and have/or will procreate. I have given my parents a adopted-grandchild in the form a fluffy adorable little cocker spaniel named Sadie, but apparently she doesn't really count. I'll say this for Sadie…she kisses and cuddles with the best of them, and she never begs for money (just french fries)…..so I just don't get it??? They should really see the genius in my circumstance- I am footloose and fancy free (free enough with my moola to have taken each sibling individually on an fancy international vacation and my niece to Ireland for high school graduation gift) and loving life to the fullest- (things I love with my whole heart: cave aged cheeses, travel, old cook books, Jane Austen novels (I know- cliche), haunted castle hotels, my hybrid highlander, my loud interfering, supportive and loving family and…. Sadie! So- bring on 40- if this is spinsterhood, I'm in!!!!!!!

This is my best friend (Menaka) on the extreme left, my dog (Fuzzy) at the centre and me on the right. Fuzzy passed away last year. I had him for 15 years. I don't think that I will ever get over this loss. Menaka is an English teacher. She teacher a class of 9 terribly naughty boys. She loves singing and and dancing in her free time. By dancing I mean Indian Classical. I'm a travel writer. I travel, I write and want to spend the rest of my life on the road. Or in a different country every month. I love forests and wild animals. I'm pretty sure the cause of my death will be a tiger eating me up. I wish I could keep another pet, but I don't have the courage to lose another one.

This is Morgan. She just turned 19. She likes to bake cookies when she is upset. Morgan was a champion gymnast on Vancouver island and her nicknames are Bean, Shakespeare, and Morgie Muggins. Morgan likes Marilyn Monroe, chocolate, and most of all her dog Louie, a 4lb yorkie who can sing.

This is my boyfriend & I. Clearly, we have a loving relationship built on mutual respect. I like every single animal ever & he likes Jeeps & motorcycles. The only thing we really agree on is that I'm the funniest of the two. I keep because he's handy around the house & can fix absolutely anything. I have also attached a photo of my dog because he is pretty fantastic. Crowd favorite dead serious. He is very old & cranky. He hates having his photo taken. Despite this, I take his photo a lot. He likes to sleep under the Christmas tree & pee on the rug in the bathroom. We love him. Most days.

This is me and my boyfriend Keith. Keith is an amazing musician and really good at Modern Warfare (COD). He is famous on youtube for his singing. I am a chef and make really good Russian fudge. We like to go to the beach and stargaze at night. We have an awesome dog called Mishkaa who is a Samoyed. We live in New Zealand but we're moving to Boston next year - can't wait! The photo I have attached is of us working at "Spookers" which is where we met ages ago. We call it zombie love :) We are forever in comfy pants watching movies in bed.

My sister and I would like to submit a photo and description of our brother, Alex. He loves puppies, pizza, pineapple, and Emma Watson. He was also in a screamo band, is a dungeon master, and sells Yu-Gi-Oh cards to little freshmen at school. He also has the defences for our family planned for the imminent Zombie Apocalypse.

This is me and our adorable Labrador Monty in one of our favourite photos. We travelled around Australia in 2009 and he took out the honour of catching the biggest fish of the trip. It was like a John West ad, he literally dived into the surf and came up with a big salmon! Monty also eats, drinks and snores really loudly. He weighs more than me. If I didn't find them so scary, I'd say he's a total clown. I don't think I'm a scaredy cat but I also hate balloons. I love making perfectly neat sandwiches and I like walking quickly, so can't stand people walking slowly, clogging up the sidewalk.
