Family Gossip

I'm an Indiana University alumni.  I have recently quit teaching to return to school for a degree in the physical therapy. I enjoy traveling, reading, the outdoors, and movies. I don't keep up on current fashions and trends. Prefer my comfy clothes. I do love celebrity gossip.

My husband, Curt, is a computer guy and also an IU alumni. He loves his tech gadgets. He is a sports fan- Indianapolis Colts, Notre Dame, Fighting Irish, and Indiana Hoosiers. He enjoys photography, movies, and does all the cooking in this house.

Alexis is 6 years old. She does tap, ballet, and cheerleading. Alexis enjoys playing school, American Girl dolls, Barbies, and reading. Lucas is 4 years old. He is a HUGE sports fanatic. He loves NASCAR, football (Notre Dame), and basketball (IU).  His favorite tv show is Sportscenter.

We travel together as a family often. We went to Disney World last year, took a Disney Cruise this year, have been to the beach a couple of times over the past few years, and visit Chicago frequently.  We also enjoy riding bikes together, playing board games, playing sports in the backyard, and family movie nights. Curt and Kristen will celebrate their 10th anniversary in May 2012.

We are a fishing mad family! We own a boat and the kids live and breath anything to do with fishing :) Gracie's favorite fish is Snapper and Nate just likes whacking his sister with the fishing rod.

Zombie Family

We are Andrew and Gaby and have known each other since the 8th grade. We are now engaged to be married in February 2012!  We love Halloween and Zombies! Andrew has a 5 year old named Becka (from a previous marriage) which we love dearly!!  Andrew is a computer geek and loves pizza, building useful shit, and shooting guns. Gaby is going to hair school, loves painting, going to concerts, collecting music and DVDs, and Pinterest. Becka loves dessert after dinner every night, singing in the car, dancing in public and taking naps. We have a gray fluffy cat named Oliver that hates wearing sweaters.

The Crazy Bunch

 I have 2 kids, Colton and Chloe. Divorced, and better for it! A couple of years ago, I met an amazing man named Pj, pictured above with his son Collin, and we have been inseparable ever since. We are not married, but live together, quite happily in sin thank you very much, as a blended unit.

I love a parade, any kind, I collect witches, love to laugh. I am an avid reader, a blogger and I scrapbook whenever I can. I have a love affair with a pirate, which Pjindulges, and I get in to every holiday. I have funky socks/earrings/hats/clothing for all of them! I am not afraid to embarrass my children, I love good food and I enjoy a glass of wine, or two, or three........

The Savages

We're Krista, Jesse, Nate & Riley. As a couple, we challenged status quo and started life backwards. First came love, then came the baby in the baby carriage, then came the other baby in the baby carriage, then came marriage - 11 years later!  

A little about us... Krista loves to travel and experience new cultures, she's a very picky eater and like everything plain, but she's obsessed with spices, her favorite color is aqua blue, she's addicted to ice cream…well, any kind of sweet, but ice cream would have to be one of her favorites, currently, she's obsessed with all things vampire, she's an animal lover and has a cat name Kington 2.0 – she adopted him from an animal shelter (Kingston 1.0 got lost), she's terrified of being in deep water if she can’t see the bottom – something about dead bodies coming up to grab her legs, weird, I know… 

Jesse left his heart in San Francisco, where he grew up, he's a technology addict and constantly has gadgets in his hands from his iPad to his Android phone to his tablet, just like American Express, he doesn't leave home without them, he also has a strange habit of piling his laundry in a mountain beside the bed instead of putting it in the laundry hamper - this drives Krista crazy...

Nate is a comedian, he loves telling jokes and making people laugh, he also loves all electronics and his favorite movie is Star Wars...

Riley is a little diva, she knows what she wants and goes after it, she loves reading books and her favorite series is Barney...

10 Years

Trevor – huge California State Univeristy Fresno Fan, huge football fan, huge sports fan, like to cook, and LOVES his family

Jennifer – enjoys reading, spending time with family, gaming, likes the lake and beach and throwing parties for her son (we have a holiday party for almost all the major holidays)

Grant – 5 years old, HUGE train fan, Thomas the Train, Lionel Trains, Sport fan, addicted to the iPad, loves anything to do with Bass Lake in California, and likes the beach

The Three Pirateers

Attached is a photo of my boyfriend (on the right), his mom and his little brother Justin. Debbie, Jimmy and Justin are like the Three Musketeers, well maybe more like a pirate version of them!! Both of them love their mom more then anything in the entire world and aren't afraid to show it. Justin is a former pro wakeskater, and Jimmy helped get him there by videoing every trick he could. Deb loves shopping, the Tampa Bay Rays, silk pajamas, relaxing in the jacuzzi and wearing a rhinestoned cowboy hat whenever she can.  

Marching Band

This is my family…my husband Tim, son Jake, daughter Emma and me. We love the beach and try to go each year. Tim’s passion is hunting and fishing. Jill loves to scrapbook, crochet, and anything crafty. Emma is a freshman in high school and is in the marching band playing the flute. Their colors are black and gold. Jake is at the middle school in beginner band and plays the saxophone. He also loves creating stuff with legos. We all love the outdoors and go camping several times each year.

Seeing New Places

I'm a stay at home mom. I love to shop, sew, and am working on my photography skills! I make some pretty awesome stuffed animals. My husband Robb is in the navy. Loves to ride his motorcycle, go rock climbing, and play with his daughter. Our daughter Etta is 2 (or will be in a month!) and loves being outside, watching Dora or Mickey Mouse or playing with her dog Beau. Our dog Beau is a big ole thing. He's a pitbull and people look terrified of him until he runs up and licks them until they pet him(I think its gross but most people are ok with it.) When we're together we travel a LOT! My husband is stationed in the Seattle area, my family lives in NY, and his family lives in Michigan and Texas! And we also just love to see new places! We also love watching movies, going to the park, and cooking together!
