Thrift Store Hats

I am a combination of a hippie and a gypsy. I love traveling everywhere. I always have on weird clothes too, mostly from thrift stores. And a hat. I have an obsession with hats. Cats are awesome too. Everything I look at I have to write about and take a picture of it. OK, maybe that's an exaggeration but I do like writing and photography. I love Harry Potter too, just thought I'd mention that. Warning: I also randomly burst out into song. Usually weird songs.

All That Jazz

This is a picture of me and my lovely roomies. We're all English/Theatre majors and it's not uncommon for our whole house to break into song (specifically musical theatre pieces.) On the left, we have Becca. She is a barefoot water skier, plays guitar and loves mustard. In the middle is me, I'm a highly caffeinated insomniac  who adores the Beatles, belongs in the 20s as a flapper, and can make sock monkeys like nobodys business. Finally to the right we have Jess, who is a hippie in denial who "likes your face" and "believes in people." She's also a big Harry Potter fan.

Better than a Sitcom

We have a crazy grey tabby kitten named Loki, a brindle pit bull named Bailey (who's an old lady and usually has her toenails painted pink,) and 2 horses that I have had for over ten years named Badger and Joker. I belong in nature (my husband calls me Pocahontas), I am a wanna be housewife, I am whimsical, I wish I was a hippy, I love animals and plants, I'm a paramedic headed to nursing school soon, and my husband is my world. My husband is a medic in the Army, is incredibly high energy, is a closet nerd, plays lots of computer and X-box games, randomly jumps on counter tops, leaps through the air, makes loud noises that I never knew another human being could make, and acts like a t-rex quite often. Together we are quite entertaining, weird, and have been quoted to be, "Better than a sitcom."

Fake Mustaches

I would like to submit a picture of my husband and I. His birthday is coming up, and we both know that nothing says love like giving him a free crappy portrait to hang on our wall. Chris is a musician (he plays the guitar and piano), who hates his 9 to 5, but loves ninjas, surfing, and nerdy glasses. I am a dental student who really likes hippies, bikes, and Chris. As you can see from the picture, we both like mustaches (although neither of us have real mustaches) We live in an awesome city and we are super in love. The mushy kind of love that everyone hates. We also think that competitive trespassing should be a sport. Just sayin'.

Fab Five Fiesta

This is a picture of my girlfriend and four of her best friends, knows as "The Fab Five." She is turning 20 today. I am throwing her a party and "The Fab Five" will be together. They have been best friends since February 2004. They don't really get to see each other much and now go to school in different states. So this is a big deal for them.

VW Campervan

My names Steph, and I love photography and travelling! Travel and photography go together brilliantly and I usually annoy everyone by stopping to take photos. Sunsets are beautiful, as are glistening waters, trees and campervans!! I have a bit of a VW campervan obsession and tend to collect anything I find which has a beautiful campervan on it! I do think in short I'd like to be a hippie. I must have been born in the wrong era. In the last year alone I have travelled to Amsterdam, Jamaica, Egypt and have lived in London. Going back further I spent 4 years living in France and I'm only 23 now!
