Hardcore

I am a ski bum. It consumes my time. Which is unfortunate because I am also a music major in school. Between the two things I barely have a life in the winter outside of practicing and skiing. These are my two passions. This is one of the few pictures that exist of my ski life, because I generally ski solo. I was standing at 11,000 feet above sea level and it was beautiful. I love my goggles because they make me feel hardcore whenever I put them on. Sometimes when it's really cold and snowy out, I will walk around campus with them on just to feel hardcore. I am sure you understand. Thank you for showing the world through your portrait, what the world of skiing and music mean to me.

A serious crush

I am the dapper fellow in the denim jacket and I have had a serious crush "LJ."

Back story: LJ and I are in a student organization together. When I saw LJ walk in the room as a new member, wearing her "Envy on the Coast" band t shirt and black puffy jacket, I was hooked from that day on...this was three years ago. Still am today. Maybe even worse. I share casual conversations with her every Tuesday when I see her at meetings, but this is unfortunately the only interaction I have with her in the week.

Now, I need your help, to finally break the ice and confess my deep admiration and adoration for this amazing human being.

Help an awkward brother out so I don't leave the university without a crappy portrait displaying my feelings.

I'm a 25-year-old legal receptionist with a keen outlook on life. My passions in life include the internet (I found you on Reddit!), music (DEVO, They Might Be Giants, and various punk bandz), and dessert! I also love cats and Pokemon (again, REDDIT) and my newly-acquired hobby - PINBALL MACHINES. I spend every lunch break at the arcade spending buttloads of quarters on machines like Batman, Transformers and sometimes Avatar - even though that movie sucks.

This is me. And my roommate. We are two 20 year old girls (yes, sometimes people may wonder if we aren't really 6 year olds stuck in these bodies...) who know how to have a good time. Both obsessed with eating cookie dough, watching chick flicks, day dreaming about attractive men, sleeping, having dance parties, and playing rip-roaring card games. We occasionally find the time to study or do the dishes. And no, this is not what we wear to school everyday.
