Family Gossip

I'm an Indiana University alumni.  I have recently quit teaching to return to school for a degree in the physical therapy. I enjoy traveling, reading, the outdoors, and movies. I don't keep up on current fashions and trends. Prefer my comfy clothes. I do love celebrity gossip.

My husband, Curt, is a computer guy and also an IU alumni. He loves his tech gadgets. He is a sports fan- Indianapolis Colts, Notre Dame, Fighting Irish, and Indiana Hoosiers. He enjoys photography, movies, and does all the cooking in this house.

Alexis is 6 years old. She does tap, ballet, and cheerleading. Alexis enjoys playing school, American Girl dolls, Barbies, and reading. Lucas is 4 years old. He is a HUGE sports fanatic. He loves NASCAR, football (Notre Dame), and basketball (IU).  His favorite tv show is Sportscenter.

We travel together as a family often. We went to Disney World last year, took a Disney Cruise this year, have been to the beach a couple of times over the past few years, and visit Chicago frequently.  We also enjoy riding bikes together, playing board games, playing sports in the backyard, and family movie nights. Curt and Kristen will celebrate their 10th anniversary in May 2012.

I am the one in the black and Hayley is the graduate. We are BFFs but it took a while for that to happen because she is shy and she thinks that I'm crazy weird. She like giraffes and I like elephants. We have matching black VW Jettas. I am a girly girl but it was quite the battle to get her to wear a prom dress. She likes sports and once she tried to teach me play basketball...but I was wearing heels so it didn't really work. We don't really know why we are friends. But we are and that's what counts.

Wisconsin Anniversary

The picture is of my boyfriend and I about 3 weeks before we started dating. I want to surprise my boyfriend for our anniversary in September. Although we are in our 20s we act like we are 10 and love the outdoors and camping. We both go to Wisconsin for school, he is a nuclear engineering major who will be going into the navy and loves football. I am a sports marketing major who loves soccer. We have a long term goal of living on the lake and getting a german shepard named Diego.

Massive Amounts of Sugar

We are DJ & Ashley, we have 2 babies UNDER the age of 2, and our life is craaazy! DJ loves ice-cream, brownies, video games, sports, and recently busted his knee all up and had to have surgery. Ashley loves creativity, slushies, being a mommy, sewing, and photography. Our kids love to make messes, and inhale massive amounts of sugar.

We are Jessica and Andy. We got married on Friday the 13th of August 2010. We both love long boarding. Jessica loves unicorns and glitter, bright colored things, especially purple and playing volleyball. She wants a pet pig and is obsessed with hippie vans. Andy calls her his "beach angel."  Andy loves playing baseball, speaking Russian, being gangster and snowboarding. He calls himself "the brick wall."

My Four Children

Here's a photo of my four children...Let me tell you about each of them:

The beautiful girl on the far left is Leah. She's the perfect child — great grades, college cheerleader, respectful, preppy, happy, etc., Likes to party a little.

The next girl is Haley — she's sassy, diva-ish and only cares about riding her fancy saddlebred horse, boys and cool clothes. Frankly, she's a brat.

Then we have Blair — although extremely bright and gorgeous, she is the most moody and bitchy child - thinks the world should and does revolve around her and thinks it's her and her boyfriend against the world. Give me a break!

Then there's Trey (the evil one's twin brother) — He's compassionate, loves baseball and ESPN more than anything - except maybe waffles and strawberry milkshakes. He's pretty lazy and painfully - I mean PAINFULLY shy. If a girl speaks to him he turns bright red and looks down. Bless his heart.
